Equity Media Holdings Corporation (EMHC) owns and operates television stations across the United States and the Retro Television Network (RTN). On March 30, 2007, it merged with Equity Broadcasting Corporation, with Coconut Palm remaining as the legal surviving corporation. Immediately following the merger, the Company changed its name to Equity Media Holdings Corporation. As of December 31, 2007, EMHC has built and aggregated a total of 120 full and low power permits, licenses and applications that it owns or has contracts to acquire. Its United States Federal Communications Commission (FCC) license asset portfolio includes 23 full power stations, 38 Class A stations and 59 low power stations, including two metropolitan New York City, New York low power stations that the Company is under contract to purchase. In July 2008, the Company closed an asset sale transaction with Luken Communications, LLC.
