Description

FuelCell Energy, Inc. (FuelCell Energy) is engaged in the development and manufacturing of fuel cell power plants for electric power generation. The Company’s products have generated over 260 million-kilowatt-hour of electricity and are operating at over 50 locations around the world. The fuel cell products Direct FuelCell or DFC Power Plants offer stationary power generation applications for customers. In addition to the commercial products, the Company develops next generation of carbonate fuel cell and planar solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) technology. The carbonate DFC power plants electrochemically (without combustion) produce electricity directly from hydrocarbon fuels, such as natural gas and biogas fuels. The Company’s customers include manufacturers, mission critical institutions, breweries, food processors and wastewater treatment facilities.
