Description

Fidelity National Information Services, Inc. (FIS), incorporated on May 20, 2004, is a provider of technology solutions, processing services and information-based services to the financial services industry. The Company operates in four segments: Financial Solutions, Payment Solutions, International and Corporate and Other. On April 1, 2008, FIS sold Certegy Gaming Services, Inc. On February 29, 2008, it sold FIS Credit Services, Inc. (Credit). On July 2, 2008, the Company announced the completion of the spin-off of Lender Processing Services, Inc. In September 2009, Fidelity National Information Services announced the completion of its acquisition of Metavante Technologies, Inc.
