Flexpoint Sensor Systems, Inc. (Flexpoint) is a development stage company principally engaged in designing, engineering and manufacturing bend sensor technology and equipment using Bend Sensor technology (a flexible potentiometer technology). Bend Sensor is a flexible potentiometer bend sensor product consisting of a coated substrate, such as plastic, that changes electrical conductivity as it is bent. Electronic systems can connect to this sensor and measure in detail the amount of bending or movement that occurs. Flexpoint’s Bend Sensor potentiometer is a single layer with no mechanical assembly and is smaller and lighter in weight than mechanical potentiometers.
