The Company has acquired mineral leases in Bolivia, which it is developing for production of silver and other precious metals. The company’s wholly owned Bolivian subsidiary, Franklin Mining, Bolivia, S.A, in partnership with the Corporacion Minera de Bolivia, is developing mining projects in the Department of Potosi. In partnership with Yacimientos Petroliferos Fiscales Bolivianos and several Bolivian cities and departments, Franklin Oil & Gas, Bolivia, S.A. has agreements for the development and construction of gas-to-liquid facilities of various capacities. Franklin Oil & Gas, Argentina, S.A. has an agreement for construction of a gas-to-liquid plant serving the needs and requirements of the Province of Tierra del Fuego, Argentina. On April 7, 2009, the Company announced the sale of all energy assets to a newly formed oil and gas company.
