Cedar Fair, L.P. together with its affiliated companies (the Partnership) is a limited partnership formed and managed by Cedar Fair Management, Inc. The Partnership is engaged in operating regional amusement park operations. During the year ended December 31, 2008, the Partnership owns 11 amusement parks, six outdoor water parks, one indoor water park and five hotels. The Partnership’s parks are family-oriented, with recreational facilities for people of all ages, and provide clean and attractive environments with rides and entertainment. The amusement parks include Cedar Point; Kings Island; Canada’s Wonderland; Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom (Dorney Park); Valleyfair; Michigan’s Adventure; Kings Dominion; Carowinds; Worlds of Fun; Knott’s Berry Farm, and California’s Great America (Great America). The Partnership also owns and operates the Castaway Bay Indoor Waterpark Resort in Sandusky, Ohio, and six separate-gated outdoor water parks.
