Fortuna Silver Mines Inc. is a Canada-based company engaged in silver mining and related activities, in Latin America, including exploration, extraction, and processing. The Company operates Callyoma silver/lead/zinc mine (Callyoma) is located in Arequipa, Peru and comprises 33,500 hectares and the San Jose silver/gold mine (San Jose) is located in Oaxaca, Mexico and comprises of 64,400 hectares. Fortuna Silver Mines Inc. operates in two segments namely mining and processing of silver-lead, zinc, and the silver-gold and the sale of these products. The Company produced approximately 22.6 million pounds of Callyoma mine and 16.6 million pounds of San Jose mine. Its mineral properties include Mario Property, Don Mario Property, Tlacolula Property, Taviche Oeste Concessions and San Luisito Concessions.
