One of the foremost law firms in Texas, Fulbright & Jaworski stretches well beyond the Lone Star State. The firm has grown to include about 1,000 lawyers in more than 15 offices in the US and overseas (in Europe, the Middle East, and the Asia/Pacific region). Much of Fulbright & Jaworski's business over the years has come from companies in the oil and gas industry, but the firm maintains a broad range of practice areas centered on litigation, regulatory, and transactional services. The firm was founded in Houston in 1919 by R. Clarence Fulbright and John Crooker; it takes the second half of its name from late partner and Watergate special prosecutor Leon Jaworski.
