GMX Resources Inc. is an independent oil and natural gas exploration and production company. The Company is focused on the development of unconventional Haynesville/Bossier Shale and Cotton Valley Sands in the Sabine Uplift of the Carthage, North Field of Harrison and Panola counties of East Texas (core area). The Company has two subsidiaries: Diamond Blue Drilling Co. (Diamond Blue), which owns and operates three drilling rigs in its core area and Endeavor Pipeline Inc. (Endeavor), which owns and operates its gathering system in its core area. In November 2009, the Company and its wholly owned subsidiary, Endeavor Pipeline Inc., completed the transfer of its mid stream gas gathering, compression, and related equipment to Endeavor Gathering LLC, an affiliate of Kinder Morgan Energy Partners, L.P.
