The aerospace and defense segment includes the operations of Aerojet-General Corporation (Aerojet), which develops and manufactures propulsion systems for defense and space applications, armament systems for precision tactical weapon systems and munitions applications. The Company is also engaged in providing propulsion systems, and solid and liquid propellant-based systems. The real estate segment includes activities related to the entitlement, sale, and leasing of the excess real estate assets. The Company owns approximately 12,200 acres of land adjacent to United States Highway 50 between Rancho Cordova and Folsom, California, east of Sacramento (Sacramento Land).
