Description

Geospace Technologies Corporation (GEOS) designs and manufactures instruments and equipment used in the acquisition and processing of seismic data, as well as in the characterization and monitoring of producing oil and gas reservoirs. The Company also designs, manufactures and distributes non-seismic equipment including thermal imaging equipment and industrial products. The Company categorizes its customers and products into two segments: Seismic and Non-Seismic. It markets its products primarily to the oil and gas industry. The Company's seismic product lines consist of land and marine nodal data acquisition systems, seabed reservoir characterization products and services, geophones and hydrophones, geophone string and acquisition system connectors, telemetry cables, marine streamer retrieval and steering devices and various other products. The Company's non-seismic products include thermal imaging products and industrial products.
