HEICO Corporation (HEICO), through its subsidiaries is a manufacturer of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)-approved jet engine and aircraft component replacement parts, other than the original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and their subcontractors. The Company is also a manufacturer of various types of electronic equipment for the aviation, defense, space, medical, telecommunication and electronic industries. HEICO operates in two business segments: The Flight Support Group (FSG) and The Electronic Technologies Group (ETG). The FSG consisting of HEICO Aerospace Holdings Corp. (HEICO Aerospace) and its subsidiaries, accounted for 73%, of the Company’s net sales during the fiscal year ended October 31, 2009 (fiscal 2009). The ETG consisting of HEICO Electronic Technologies Corp. and its subsidiaries, accounted for 27% of its net sales in fiscal 2009. In May 2009, the Electronic Technologies Group acquired an 82.5% interest in VPT, Inc.
