HealthShares Cardio Devices ETF (the Fund) is one in a series of HealthShares exchange-traded funds (ETFs) that are organized by therapeutic categories in pharmaceuticals, healthcare services, life sciences and biotechnology. The Fund seeks investment results that correspond to the performance of HealthShares Cardio Devices Index (the Index), an equity index of publicly traded common stocks and American depository receipts (ADRs). The Index invests in medical equipment companies. Companies included in the Index are engaged in the manufacture, distribution and commercialization of medical devices for the treatment of cardiac, vascular and endovascular disorders and diseases, including, but not limited to, stents, valves, patches, pumps, defibrillators, pacemakers, sutures and sensors/chips. The Fund will generally invest at least 90% of its assets in common stocks of companies in the underlying Index. The Fund’s investment advisor is XShares Advisors LLC.
