Heineken NV is a Netherland-based company engaged in manufacturing and selling beer. It owns and manages a portfolio of beer brands. Its principal brand is Heineken. In addition, the Company has more than 250 international, regional, local and specialty beers, including Amstel, Birra Moretti, Cruzcampo, Deperados, Dos Equis, Foster�s, Newcastle Brown Ale, Ochota, Primus, Sagres, Sol, Star, Tecate, Zlaty Bazant and Zywiec, among others. Additionally, it produces cider with brands such as Strongbow Gold and Bulmer�s. Its operations business comprises six segments: Western Europe, Central and Eastern Europe, Africa and the Middle East, Americas and Asia-Pacific. As of December 31, 2011, it was a member of Heineken Group with the parent entity Heineken Holding NV. Heineken NV operated numerous subsidiaries, worldwide. In January 2013, it acquired remaining 18.4% interest in Asia Pacific Breweries Ltd.
