Prosperity Real Estate Investment Trust (Prosperity REIT) is a Hong Kong-based real estate investment trust. The principal activity of Prosperity REIT and its subsidiaries is to own and invest in a portfolio of offices and commercial properties located in Hong Kong. As of December 31, 2008, the Company owned a diverse portfolio of seven office, industrial/office and industrial properties in Hong Kong, with a total gross rentable area of about 1.22 million square feet. These properties include The Metropolis Tower, Prosperity Millennia Plaza, Harbourfront Landmark, Prosperity Place, Trendy Centre, Prosperity Center and New Treasure Centre. As of December 31, 2008, Prosperity REIT had a total of 521 tenants. The Company’s subsidiaries include Bandick Limited, Conestoga Limited, Harbour Champ Limited, Jade Arch Investment Limited, Prodes Company Limited and Progain Group Limited, among others. Prosperity REIT is managed by ARA Asset Management (Prosperity) Limited.
