CITIC Pacific Limited is a holding company. Through its principal subsidiary companies, jointly controlled entities and associated companies, the Company is engaged in the special steel business, iron ore mining business, property investment and development business in the People�s Republic of China (PRC) and Hong Kong, energy business, tunnel operation business, environmental business and other investment business. Its energy business mainly operates power plants and stations. Its environmental business mainly engages in the supply of tap water, operation of refuse transfer stations, as well as landfill construction and operation. The Company is controlled by CITIC Group Corporation which owns 57.5% of the Company�s shares. The Company�s subsidiaries include Daye Special Steel Co., Ltd., Korean Steel Pty Ltd, Shanghai Super Property Co., Ltd., Borgia Limited and Sunburst Energy Development Co., Ltd., among others.
