Paradise Entertainment Limited, formerly LifeTec Group Limited, is an investment holding company. The Company, together with its subsidiaries, is engaged in the research, development and sale of biopharmaceutical products, and sale of live baccart betting units, development and operation of electronic gaming systems. The Company operates in two segments: Biopharmaceutical and Gaming. Its gaming business is conducted through its subsidiaries, LT (Macau) Limited and LT Game Limited. Casino Kam Pek Paradise, the Company’s flagship casino venue at San Kin Yip Commercial Center, adjacent to Lisboa Hotel & Casino, occupies over 100,000 square feet. It offers e-table and traditional table games. During the year ended December 31, 2008, the Company launched Paradise Box electronic gaming terminal, an e-table and server-based slot terminal hybrid. Its income-sharing terminals in Macau totaled 500 terminals in 2008. Its biopharmaceutical business is conducted through LifeTec Pharmaceutical Ltd.
