Hydrogenics Corporation (Hydrogenics) designs, develops and manufactures hydrogen generation products based on water electrolysis technology and fuel cell products based on proton exchange membrane (PEM) technology. The Company maintains operations in Belgium, Canada and Germany. The Company operates in four segments: OnSite Generation, Power Systems, Test Systems business, and Corporate and Other. The primary customers for its OnSite Generation products are industrial gas companies, industrial end users, oil and gas companies and utilities. The primary customers for its Power Systems products are original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), systems integrators and end users. Its wholly owned subsidiaries include Hydrogenics Test Systems Inc., Stuart Energy Systems Corporation, Hydrogenics Europe NV and Hydrogenics GmbH. In October 2009, Hydrogenics Corporation acquired Algonquin Power Income Fund.
