IAMGOLD Corporation (IAMGOLD) is a mid-tier gold mining company producing approximately one million ounces annually from five gold mines (including joint ventures) on three continents. The Company is engaged primarily in the exploration for, and the development and production of, mineral resource properties throughout the world. Through its holdings, IAMGOLD has interests in various operations and exploration properties, as well as a royalty interest on a property that produces diamonds. IAMGOLD also operates Niobec, a niobium mine in the Canadian province of Quebec. Other property interests include mining leases in the Province of Quebec, and together with the Doyon Mine are located in Quebec; an indirect 18.9% interest in Abosso Goldfields Limited, the holder of the mineral rights to the Damang concession in Ghana on which the Damang gold mine is located; a 50% interest in Sadiola Exploration Limited.
