iShares Dow Jones EPAC Select Dividend Index Fund (the Fund) seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance of the Dow Jones EPAC Select Dividend Index (the Index). The Index measures the performance of a selected group of equity securities issued by companies that have provided relatively high dividend yields on a consistent basis over time. The Index consists of 100 of the highest dividend-yielding securities (excluding real estate investment trusts) in the Dow Jones World Developed-Ex. U.S. Index, a broad-based index representative of the Europe, Pacific, Asia and Canada (EPAC) regions, which covers developed markets, excluding the United States. The Fund invests in a representative sample of securities included in the Index that collectively has an investment profile similar to the Index.
