Description
Infigen Energy Limited is engaged in renewable energy business. The Company has interests in 24 wind farms across Australia and the United States. The Company has total installed capacity in excess of 1,600 megawatt (on an equity interest basis). The Company develops, builds, owns and operates energy generation assets and directly manages the sale of the electricity that it produces to a range of customers in the wholesale market. In October 2011, it completed its 48.3 megawatt Woodlawn wind farm located in the Capital Renewable Energy Precinct near Bungendore in New South Wales. In February 2012, the Company completed a transaction with renewable energy project developer Pioneer Green Solar (Pioneer) and acquired 100% of the equity interests in a number of solar development projects.
