iShares S&P North American Natural Resources Sector Index Fund (the Fund) seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance of the S&P North American Natural Resources Sector Index (the Index). The Index is designed to measure the performance of United States-traded stocks of natural resource-related companies in the United States and Canada. The Index includes companies in categories, such as producers of oil, gas and consumable fuels, energy equipment and services, metals and mining, manufacturers of paper and forest products, and producers of construction materials, containers and packaging. The Fund invests in a representative sample of securities included in the Index that collectively has an investment profile similar to the Index. The Fund’s investment advisor is BlackRock Fund Advisors.
