iShares S&P North American Technology-Software Index Fund (the Fund) seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance of the S&P North American Technology-Software Index (the Index). The Index is designed to measure the performance of United States-traded stocks of software-related companies in the United States and Canada. The Index includes companies that are producers of client/server applications, enterprise software, application software, and personal computer (PC) and home entertainment software. The Fund invests in a representative sample of securities included in the Index that collectively has an investment profile similar to the Index. The Fund’s investment advisor is BlackRock Fund Advisors.
