Description

iShares S&P Latin America 40 Index Fund (the Fund) seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance of the S&P Latin America 40 Index (the Index). The Index consists of selected equities trading on the exchanges of four Latin American countries. The Index includes highly liquid securities from major economic sectors of the Mexican and South American equity markets. Companies from Mexico, Brazil, Argentina and Chile are represented in the Index. The Fund invests in a representative sample of securities included in the Index that collectively has an investment profile similar to the Index. The Fund’s investment advisor is BlackRock Fund Advisors.
