Description

IntegraMed America, Inc. is a specialty healthcare services company offering products and services to patients and providers in the fertility and vein segments of the healthcare industry. The Company operates fertility centers and vein clinics, and provides treatment financing programs for patients of these facilities whose insurance does not cover the particular procedure. IntegraMed America is organized into three operating divisions and a corporate office that provides shared services. The operating divisions are: Fertility Centers, Consumer Services and Vein Clinics. The Fertility Centers Division is a provider network comprised of 11 contracted fertility centers, referred to as its Partner Program. The Consumer Services Division offers products directly to fertility patients. As of December 31, 2008, the Vein Clinics division operated a network of 32 clinics (33 as of January 2009) located in 12 states, which specialize in the treatment of vein disease and disorders.
