iShares S&P Global 100 Index Fund (the Fund) seeks investment results that correspond to the price and yield performance of the S&P Global 100 Index (the Index). The Index is designed to measure the performance of 100 large-capitalization global companies. These companies are highly liquid and represent some of the largest multinational businesses in the world. The Index is a subset of the S&P Global 1200 Index and contains 100 common stocks, screened for sector representation, liquidity and size. The Index is designed to measure the performance of 100 large transnational companies that have a minimum adjusted market capitalization of US$5 billion. A transnational company is defined as a company that has production facilities and/or other fixed assets in at least one foreign country. The Fund invests in a representative sample of securities included in the Index that collectively has an investment profile similar to the Index.
