Inter Pipeline Fund (Inter Pipeline) is engaged in petroleum transportation, storage and natural gas liquids extraction business based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The Company operates through four segments: oil sands transportation business, NGL extraction business, conventional oil pipeline business and bulk liquid storage business. The oil sands transportation business consists of two pipelines systems: a heavy blend and condensate pipeline system, and a diluted bitumen and upgrader system. The NGL extraction business consists of processing natural gas to extract natural gas liquids (NGLs), including ethane and a mixture of propane, butane and pentanes plus (propane plus). The conventional oil pipeline business is primarily the transportation, storage and processing of hydrocarbons. The bulk liquid storage business activity comprises primarily the storage and handling of bulk liquid products. The Company operates in Canada and Europe.
