Description

International Speedway Corporation is a promoter of motorsports entertainment activities in the United States. The general nature of the Company’s business is a motorsports themed amusement enterprise, furnishing amusement to the public in the form of motorsports themed entertainment. The Company owns and/or operates 13 of the motorsports entertainment facilities, which include Daytona International Speedway in Florida, Talladega Superspeedway in Alabama, Michigan International Speedway in Michigan and Richmond International Raceway in Virginia, among others.The Company’s business consists of promoting racing events at motorsports entertainment facilities, which, in total, has more than one million grandstand seats and over 550 suites. On February 2, 2007, the Company acquired the 62.5% interest in Raceway Associates, LLC.
