Fortis Bank A.S. is a Turkey-based financial institution that provides a range of banking and financial services to its customers. The Bank’s retail banking offerings consist of debit and credit cards, personal loans, and investment and insurance products. Its corporate banking services include international trade financing, asset and cash management, credit services, factoring and leasing. Through its commercial and small business banking segments, the Bank offers various investment services to small and medium-sized enterprises. Internet and telephone banking are also part of the Bank’s offerings. Fortis Bank A.S.’s subsidiaries include Fortis Factoring, Fortis Portfoy, Fortis Leasing, Fortis Yatirim and Fortis Pension & Life. It is also active in Malta through its subsidiaries. As of December 31, 2008, the Bank had a total of 299 branches countrywide, automated teller machines in 47 cities in Turkey, and no longer operated its Bahrain branch.
