Description

Illinois Tool Works Inc. (ITW) is a multinational manufacturer of a diversified range of industrial products and equipment with operations in 58 countries. The Company operates in eight business segments: Transportation; Power Systems & Electronics; Industrial Packaging; Food Equipment; Construction Products; Polymers & Fluids; Decorative Surfaces, and All Other. The Company primarily serves the construction, general industrial, automotive, food institutional/restaurant and service, food and beverage, electronics, consumer durables, primary metals, and others markets. In March 2011, the Company acquired SOPUS Products' Car Care business. In July 2011, the Company acquired Despatch Industries. In April 2012, Graco Inc. acquired the Company�s finishing businesses. The acquisition includes complementary powder and liquid finishing equipment operations, technologies and brands. Effective March 5, 2013, the Company acquired Drahtzug Stein wire & welding GmbH & Co KG.
