iShares S&P 500 Value Index Fund (the Fund) seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance of the S&P 500/Citigroup Value Index (the Index). The Index measures the performance of the large-capitalization value sector of the United States equity market. It is a subset of the S&P 500 Index, and consists of those stocks in the S&P 500 exhibiting the strongest value characteristics. The Fund invests in a representative sample of securities included in the Index that collectively has an investment profile similar to the Index. The Fund invested in sector, including consumer non-cyclical, financial, communications, industrial, utilities, consumer cyclical, technology, basic materials, energy and diversified industry. The Fund’s investment advisor is BlackRock Fund Advisors.
