iShares S&P Global Financials Sector Index Fund (the Fund) seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance of the S&P Global Financials Sector Index (the Index). The Index is a subset of the S&P Global 1200 Index, and measures the performance of companies that S&P deems to be part of the financial sector of the economy. Component companies include banks, diversified financial companies, insurance companies, real estate companies, savings and loan associations, and securities brokers. The Fund invests in a representative sample of securities included in the Index that collectively has an investment profile similar to the Index. The Fund’s investment advisor is Barclays Global Fund Advisors.
