JA Solar Holdings Co., Ltd. (JA Solar) is engaged in the business of designing, developing, manufacturing and selling solar cell and solar module products. The Company is also engaged in the manufacturing and sales of solar cells. Its principal products are monocrystalline and multicrystalline solar cells and it also manufacture a variety of standard and specialty solar modules. JA Solar sells its products under the JA Solar brand name and also produces original equipment for manufacturer (OEM), customers under their brand names. During the year ended December 31, 2010 (during 2010), it had a solar cell manufacturing capacity of 2,100 megawatts per annum. It also manufacture customized module products according to its customers� and end-users� specifications. In 2010, the Company acquired 100% of the interest in Shanghai Jinglong Solar Technology Co., Ltd. (Shanghai Jinglong). In December 2011, the Company acquired Silver Age Holdings Limited.
