JF China Region Fund, Inc. (the Fund) is a non-diversified, closed-end management investment company. The Fund seeks to achieve long-term capital appreciation through investments primarily in equity securities of companies with substantial assets in, or revenues derived from, the People's Republic of China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau (collectively, the China Region). It may invest in securities that are subject to legal or contractual restrictions on resale or are illiquid. The Fund invests in industries, such as commercial banks, construction and engineering, insurance, Internet software and services, oil, gas and consumable fuels, and diversified financial services.
