iShares Morningstar Mid Growth Index Fund (the Fund) seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance of the Morningstar Mid Growth Index (the Growth Index). The Growth Index measures the performance of stocks issued by mid-capitalization companies that have exhibited above-average growth characteristics as determined by Morningstar Inc.’s index methodology. The Growth Index constituents are drawn from the pool of liquid, the United States-domiciled stocks that trade publicly on the NYSE, the AMEX or NASDAQ. The Fund invests in a representative sample of securities included in the Growth Index that collectively has an investment profile similar to the Growth Index.
