iShares S&P Global Utilities Sector Index Fund (the Fund) seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance of the S&P Global Utilities Sector Index (the Index). The Index is a subset of the S&P Global 1200 Index, and measures the performance of companies that S&P deems to be part of the utilities sector of the economy. Component companies include providers of electric, gas or water utilities, or companies that operate as independent producers and/or distributors of power. The Fund invests in a representative sample of securities included in the Index that collectively has an investment profile similar to the Index.
