Blackbird Energy Inc. (Blackbird) is engaged in the acquisition, development and production of petroleum and gas interests. The Company�s Flaxcombe property is located in West Central Saskatchewan. Its Mantario Project has analogue support to a near proximity oil discovery that has 31 wells in production. The Blackbird Alsask lands consist of 1,120 gross acres. The project has two producing oil wells with production of 20 barrels per day (15 API) and one water disposal well with 250 barrels of water per day disposal on vacuum. The Bigstone Montney project is a liquids rich gas project located in North West Alberta. The Greater Karr area project is located in North West Alberta. In April 2014, Blackbird Energy Inc acquired Pennant Energy Inc. In September 2014, it has closed its previously announced acquisition of 8 additional sections contiguous with its existing Elmworth Project and 77 sections of Montney prospective land in East Wapiti located northeast of the Elmworth Project.
