JFK University has an enrollment of approximately 2,000 students who attend classes at four campuses and facilities around the Bay Area. The university has about 800 faculty members (60 core and 740 adjunct) and offers undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs in the fields of education, liberal arts, management, psychology, holistic studies, and law. Classes are mostly offered in the late afternoon and evening. JFK University, named for the 35th president of the United States, was created in 1964 -- one year after his assassination.
