Kaiser Aluminum Corporation (Kaiser) is a fabricated aluminum products manufacturing company. The Company is engaged in manufacturing rolled, extruded, drawn and forged aluminum products within three end use categories consisting of aerospace and high strength products (Aero/HS products), general engineering products (GE products) and custom automotive and industrial products (Custom products). During the year ended December 31, 2008, the Company operated nine production facilities in the United States and one in Canada. During 2008, the Company produced and shipped approximately 559 million pounds of fabricated aluminum products, which comprised 89% of the total net sales. The Company operates in two segments: Fabricated Products and Primary Aluminum. The Company has a 49% ownership interest in Anglesey Aluminium Limited (Anglesey).
