KazMunayGaz Razvedka Dobycha AO (RD KMG AO or KazMunaiGas Exploration Production JSC or KMG EP JSC) is a Kazakhstan-based company engaged in the oil and gas industries. The Company was created through a merger of UzenMunaiGas JSС and EmbaMunaiGas JSС, and it conducts its principal operations through the Uzen’MunayGaz (UMG) and EmbaMunayGaz (EMG) production divisions. The Company’s services comprise the acquisition, exploration, development, production, processing and export of hydrocarbons. Its core operations of oil and gas properties are located in the west of the country, near the Caspian Sea. KazMunayGaz Razvedka Dobycha AO is a subsidiary of National Company KazMunaiGas JSC, which represents the state’s interests in the Kazakh oil and gas industry.
