Kodiak Energy, Inc. (Kodiak) is an exploration-stage oil and gas company engaged in the acquisition of oil and gas properties for the purpose of future extraction of resources. The Company has been active in Canada and the United States in acquiring properties that are prospective for petroleum and natural gas and related hydrocarbons. As of December 31, 2008, the Company has no oil and gas reserves or production. As of December 31, 2008, Kodiak had four wholly owned subsidiaries; Kodiak Petroleum ULC (KULC), an inactive Alberta company; Cougar Energy, Inc. (Cougar); Kodiak Petroleum (Montana), Inc. (KPMI), a Delaware company which operates Kodiak’s projects in New Mexico and Montana, and Kodiak Petroleum (Utah), Inc. (KPUI), an inactive Delaware company. The Company’s Canadian projects include Lucy, Northern British Columbia; CREEnergy Lands, Alberta; Little Chicago, Northwest Territories, and Province/Granlea, Southeast Alberta. Its United States projects are New Mexico and Montana.
