KeyOn Communications Holdings, Inc. (KeyOn) is a provider of rural wireless broadband in the United States. As of December 31, 2008, KeyOn had 15,500 subscribers and operates networks covering 50,000 square miles in 11 states across the midwest and western United States. KeyOn offers residential and business subscribers a broadband service that compares to traditional broadband technologies, such as cable modem, digital subscriber line (DSL) or satellite. In addition to its broadband services, KeyOn also sells voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) and video services through its national agreement with DISH Network Corporation. The Company also focuses on providing fixed wireless broadband services primarily to rural and other underserved markets.
