Changhuat Corporation Berhad is engaged in investment holding and the provision of management services to its subsidiaries. The Company, together with its subsidiaries, operates through three segments: plastic products, which is engaged in the manufacturing and processing of plastic injected moulded components and parts; oil and gas, which is engaged in the provision of petrol vessel oil and gas companies and related services, and other operations, which mainly comprises property investment and investment holding. On September 29, 2008, the Company's subsidiary, Changhuat Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd., acquired 63% equity interest in Arus Dermaga Sdn. Bhd. On May 13, 2009, it completed the disposal of its foreign subsidiaries, Heng Huat Plastic Industries (S) Pte. Ltd., Heng Huat Precision Mould Pte. Ltd., PT Heng Huat Plastic Industries Indonesia and Changhuat Plastic Industries (Rayong) Co. Ltd.
