iShares S&P Global Consumer Staples Sector Index Fund (the Fund) seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance of the S&P Global Consumer Staples Sector Index (the Index). The Index is a subset of the S&P Global 1200 Index, and measures the performance of companies that S&P deems to be part of the consumer staples sector of the economy. Component companies include manufacturers and distributors of food, producers of non-durable household goods, and food and drug retailing companies. The Fund invests in a representative sample of securities included in the Index that collectively has an investment profile similar to the Index.
