Description

Getty Realty Corp. is a publicly-traded real estate investment trust (REIT) in the United States specializing in the ownership, leasing and financing of retail motor fuel and convenience store properties. The Company’s properties are located in approximately 20 states across the United States and Washington, D.C., with concentrations in the Northeast and the Mid-Atlantic regions. The Company’s properties are operated under brands including Getty, BP, Exxon, Mobil, Shell, Chevron, Valero and Aloha. The Company owns the Getty trade name in connection with its real estate and the petroleum marketing business in the United States. The Company’s property is used as a retail motor fuel outlet and convenience store and is leased on a triple-net basis to petroleum distributors and individual operators. The Company’s sublets its properties to operators who operate gas stations, convenience stores, automotive repair service facilities or other businesses.
