Market Vectors Latin America Small-Cap Index ETF (the Fund) seeks to replicate as closely as possible the price and yield performance of the Market Vectors Latin America Small-Cap Index (the LatAm Small-Cap Index). The LatAm Small-Cap Index is a float adjusted index intended to give investors a means of tracking the overall performance of publicly traded small-cap companies that are domiciled and primarily listed on an exchange in the Latin American region or that generate at least 50% of their revenues in the Latin American region. The Fund will invest at least 80% of its total assets in securities that comprise the Fund�s benchmark index. The Fund�s benchmark index comprises securities of Latin American small-capitalization companies. The Fund may lend its portfolio securities to brokers, dealers and other financial institutions desiring to borrow securities to complete transactions and for other purposes.
