Its principal business operations are organized under three operating segments: Title Operations, Lender Services and Financial Services. In December 2008, Fidelity National Financial, Inc. announced the acquisition of LandAmerica’s two principal title insurance underwriters, Commonwealth Land Title Insurance Company and Lawyers Title Insurance Corporation, as well as United Capital Title Insurance Company.
