It is engaged in providing content for the media companies, or content providers, including businesses operating in the television, music, radio, newspaper, magazine, software and social media industries, as well as enterprises and government entities doing business online. Using the Limelight’s content delivery network content, providers are able to provide with media experience for media content. During the year ended December 31, 2008, Limelight provided content delivery services for the live and on-demand events that have been transmitted over the Internet, including Oprah Winfrey’s 10-part interactive book club series in February and March; the United States Open golf tournament; the Disney’s Camp Rock movie; Microsoft and NBC’s online coverage of the Beijing Olympic Summer Games, and the Presidential Election Results. In May 2009, the Company acquired Kiptronic, Inc.
