Assura Group Limited (Assura) is a closed-ended investment company with its investment in a diversified portfolio of healthcare properties. It operates through four segments: medical, pharmacy, property and property development. The medical services segment provides medical services, principally outpatient and other services traditionally undertaken in hospitals but being relocated into general practitioners (GP) surgeries, community hospitals and other facilities in the community, in collaboration with GPs. The pharmacy segment operates high-street and integrated pharmacies in medical centres. The property investment segment invests in primary care premises. The property development segment develops primary care premises and undertakes property related services, including property and lift management. On June 11, 2009 the Company sold its entire interest in Stobart Group Limited.
