Domino Printing Sciences plc (DPS) is engaged in the research, development, manufacture and sale of industrial printing equipment, controllers and consumables for the high speed printing of variable information. The Company develops, manufactures and sells a range of products and solutions, which enable manufacturers to code, identify and mark their products and packaging. It provides a range of products utilizing ink jet, laser and thermal printing technologies for product and package coding and marking. The Company manages its business on a geographical basis, based in three main regions: Europe, Americas and Asia. On June 26, 2008, DPS acquired Photon Energy GmbH and its wholly owned subsidiary NWL Lasertechnologie GmbH. On August 31, 2008, the Company acquired 95% of the share capital of aps Alternative Printing Services GmbH. On October 13, 2008, it acquired the trade and certain assets of the air purification business of PAT Technology Systems Inc.
